Second World War Type 22 pillbox located about 70 metres west of Town Bridge, Thetford on the south bank of the River Little Ouse. Built of concrete it is faced with flints and the walls are topped with brick to match the garden wall it projects from. The entrance faces south-east. The pillbox has been constructed in the period of 1940/1941. At the time of a field visit on 20th October 1995 the pillbox was in fair condition but the embrasures are now blocked.
