Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

A hoard of 16 Roman coins with fragments of red ware jug base and mortaria was found by a chance excavation (non-archaeological) in 1959 at SP 320966. It consisted of a silver denarius, dated c.150-125 BC, an as of Augustus, a silver denarius of Tiberius, nine dupondius and four aes of Claudius, all badly corroded. A suggested date for the hoard is a decade or more after AD 43. Now in Birmingham Museum.
