Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
An Iron Age and / or Roman settlement site is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The site extends over an area that measures 142m wide by 205m long and is orientated north / south. It comprises a double-ditched rectangular enclosure which contains a few dispersed pits and a possible hut circle within each of its northernmost corners, and two separate single-ditched incomplete enclosures which are also probably rectangular. The site has been listed in settlement studies of the Warwickshire Avon by Webster and Hobley as site 11. The site is overlain by ploughed out ridge and furrow (SO 93 NE 163). Scheduled.
