Statement of Scheduling

The monument is of national importance for its potential contribution

to an understanding of prehistoric and post-medieval settlement and

land use and the process of the Clearances in this area of the Highlands. The hut foundations are well-preserved and may retain information on the architecture of prehistoric houses.
