Description

The ruins of a Bishop's Palace. In use for a short while. Plain masonry. Large hall 12.19m x 8.53m, other buildings smaller. A small gate in the hedge line to the north west of the site gives access to an orchard adjacent to the northern side of the site. The site is retained under turf and the hedges are overgrown. The western edge of the scheduled area is retained under a formal path within the grounds of The Old Abbey". A modern slate platform below the western side of the walls
