Notes

A motte and bailey castle and an area of ridge and furrow cultivation situated on the outskirts of the village of Seckington. The castle is considered to have been built in the late 11th century by the Earl of Meulan or his son, Robert. The earthworks were in excellent condition when field investigated in 1967. Scheduled.
