Small cluster of Bronze Age round barrows on Avebury Down: Avebury 30a, twin mounds contained within a single oval ditch; Avebury 32, a bowl barrow; Avebury 31, a bell barrow; and a fourth low mound identified during Ordnance Survey field investigation may also be a round barrow. The fourth mound may have been identified during recent RCHME aerial survey investigation, while the other three are still extant as earthworks. An interment accompanied by faience beads, referred to by Stukeley in the mid-18th century, is suggested to have come from either Avebury 31 or 32.
