Medieval moat south east of Scorborough Hall. The central island is 38m north east to south west by 25m north west to south east and is surrounded by a moat up to 12m wide and nearly 2m deep. The moat has an exterior bank 0.5 to 0.7m high and 2.5m wide. On the island is a rectangular bank measuring 12.5m by 10m thought to be the remains of a building. Scheduled.
