Two bowl barrows located on the crest of a wooded slope below Aldbury Towers. The northernmost barrow has a mound which is circular in plan and slightly domed in profile, measuring 13 metres in diameter and 0.9 metres high. The southern barrow has a circular mound measuring 18 metres in diameter and surviving to a height of 1.4 metres. In the absence of evidence for surrounding quarry ditches, the mounds are thought to have been of 'scraped' construction, using turf and earth gathered from their surroundings. Scheduled.
