Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.

A Bronze Age round barrow on Stapley Hill surviving as an earthwork and visible on air photographs. The barrow has an earth and stone mound standing 1.8 metres high. It is round in shape and measures 14 metres in diameter. The mound was originally surrounded by a quarry ditch up to 3 metres wide, although this has been infilled over the years and is no longer visible as an earthwork. The barrow mound was partly excavated in 1903 when one burial and two cremations were found with associated pottery. Scheduled.
