Iron Age fort on the southern end of a sand and gravel spit which extends southwards from the coastal dunes known as Holkham Meals and surounded on three sides by a formwe tidal salt marsh. The enclosure is 375m north-south by 255m east-west. The inner bank is between 1m and 2m high and there is a counterscarp bank 0.4-1.4m high. The ditch is up to 1m deep and 10-17m wide. There is a gap 9m wide on the south side probably represents an entrance. Beyond this gap are slight earthworks. Scheduled.
