A medieval moated site and adjacent field system 250 metres south east of Middle Morrey. The water-filled moat defines a square island 40 metres across. The arms of the moat have an average width of 14 metres and are all at least 1 metre deep, and there is a 15 metre extension to the western part of the south western arm. The remains of a strip cultivation system (ridge and furrow) surround the moat on its northern, eastern and western sides. The site has been interpreted as a grange. Scheduled.
