Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
Round barrow above High Cove. The sub-circular barrow mound is comprised of earth and stone. Four quartz stones set around the eastern edge of the mound suggest that a kerb once surrounded the barrow. There is a hollow near the centre of the mound, thought to indicate partial excavation in the past.
