The nearest postcode is an aid to location, and does not necessarily reflect the actual address of the monument. Most scheduled monuments are not occupied buildings and have no postal address or postcode of their own. In rural and coastal areas, the nearest geocodable postal address may be several miles away.
Remains of a bowl barrow within Woolmer Forest. The north western side of the barrow mound has been badly damaged by the construction of a modern military road and is rutted by eavy vehicle tracks. The remainder of the barrow survives as a flat-topped mound measuring 17 metres north-south and standing 1.8 metres high. A smaller mound adjoining the barrow to the north east is probably a later spoil heap.
