Notes

Four bowl barrows aligned along a high ridge on Weavers Down. All four barrows are surrounded by later tree rings of drystone walling. One barrow and tree ring is surrounded by traces of a partly infilled ditch. Partial excavation of three of the mounds in 1883 revealed a large stone-lined cist in one, containing evidence of a human cremation burial.
