A group of four circular enclosures at Wiggerland Wood are visible as cropmarks on air photographs. Three would appear to be ring ditches (ie ploughed-down round barrows), all being circa 17 to 19 metres in diameter. Two feature causeways in their circuit, positioned almost opposite each other. The fourth enclosure is larger (circa 30 metres internal diameter) with a single entrance or casueway facing the other three ring ditches. Between this larger enclosure and the other three are three short lengths of ditch forming three sides of a rectangular feature. Harding and Lee describe this as being 122 metres by 9 metres, which is clearly incorrect. They suggest that the largest circular enclosure is also a barrow.
