Located on the Cleveland Way above the village of Kepwick. The first mention of this cross was in 1150 AD when it was known as Stepping Cross. It stands on the old Hambleton Drovers Road also known as the Kings Road( Regalis Via). This track is one of the oldest routes in Britain. This photo was taken in October 2011
