Cross ridge dyke north of North Ings Slack and west of Hob on the Hill tumulus

A Scheduled Monument in Commondale, North Yorkshire

Alignment Stone with cross carved on it

Uploader's Comments

In a previous post ( July 2012) I had stated that a cross had been carved on one of the stones in the Alignment and thought that it was on the taller of the two stones in the above image. In fact it is on the smaller one & though it is in shadow it is on the face looking at the camera. This photo taken New Years Day 2013
