Standing Stone next to Trig Point

Uploader's Comments

In this view of the of Trig Point and Standing Stone at Grid Reference NZ 70785 05869 taken in early February 2013 we are looking along the track towards Danby Dale. There are several Standing Stones along this track which transverses the rigg from Little Fryup Dale towards Church House in Danby Dale. They are thought to be medieval guide stones rather than of prehistoric origin
